DeeDee uses her powerful life lessons to motivate people to chase their dreams, push past limitations, and believe in their own greatness. She truly believes that inspiring others to believe in themselves is not just her gift—it’s her purpose!

For the vast majority of DeeDee Trotter’s career, she was considered by most to be the underdog. She would learn to use this imposed title as sheer motivation to propel herself to many unpredicted triumphs. These accolades include 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Olympic Bronze Medalist, US Champion, and many other championship titles during her reign.

After competing 13 years as a professional athlete, DeeDee pursued her dream of becoming a professional pastry chef. At the age of 39, she graduated from the art institute of Atlanta with a perfect 4.0 GPA, which earned her Valedictorian and Top Pastry Students honors. Deedee is now living her dream and has served as the Executive Pastry Chef at one of the top golf clubs in Atlanta. She is now the Executive Chef of her own bakery, cleverly named, “Taste of Gold Bakery!”
